European Core Curricula have been developed for the training of medical specialists in radiotherapy (radiation oncology), medical physicists in the field of radiotherapy and radiotherapy technologists. In 2002, these were endorsed by representatives from 35 European countries.  The Core Curriculum for the clinicians has been updated and the third edition has been endorsed by most European National Societies. The Core Curriculum for medical physicists will be finalised by the end of 2010 as well as the one for the RTTs.
